Open Eclipse-based Speech Application Development Environment

Avaya Dialog Designer enables dynamic generation of both Speech and DTMF VoiceXML applications for deployment on Avaya Voice Portal and Avaya Interactive Response.

Based on the widely accepted Eclipse.org development framework, Dialog Designer offers application developers a drag-and-drop environment for creation, testing, deployment and maintenance of both speech and touch-tone applications.

Dialog Designer provides an embedded VoiceXML and CCXML browser to speed prototyping and design. Use of this common VoiceXML/CCXML browser across platforms reduces deployment risk and delivers more consistent user experiences. In addition, Dialog Designer offers global language support at no additional cost.

Built on open standards and the Eclipse framework Dialog Designer enables interoperability with WebSphere, Rational, Rational ClearCase and other environments. It exposes all custom tools supported within eclipse framework such as VoiceXML 2.1, CCXML 1.0, SRGS/SSML, SOAP/XML/WSDL andJ2EE.
